Job Description

Connect the Enterprise. Engineer for Reliability.

Are you passionate about network engineering, enterprise connectivity, and building resilient infrastructure that keeps critical business applications running? Do you enjoy solving complex routing and switching challenges, optimizing network performance, and supporting secure, highly available cloud environments? We’re looking for a Network Engineer to help design, implement, maintain, and evolve our enterprise network infrastructure.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll support the network infrastructure that connects our enterprise systems, cloud environments, data centers, and business applications. You’ll work across routing, switching, network security, and voice technologies, helping ensure reliable connectivity, strong security controls, and consistent network performance across a distributed enterprise environment.

Working with Juniper routers, Dell switches, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN technologies, and enterprise voice infrastructure, you’ll collaborate with engineering teams, service providers, and business stakeholders to deliver network solutions that meet current operational needs and support future growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced network engineer who combines deep technical knowledge with strong troubleshooting skills, project execution, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Your Mission-Critical Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Engineering: Configure, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including Juniper routers, Dell switches, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN tunnels, security appliances, and related data center equipment.

Routing & Switching: Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex routing and switching environments to support reliable connectivity across enterprise networks, cloud infrastructure, and critical business applications.

Network Architecture & Standards: Maintain and enforce enterprise network design, security, and configuration standards. Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend improvements that support performance, reliability, and business requirements.

Cloud & Enterprise Connectivity: Support network connectivity across LAN, WAN, data center, and cloud environments, helping ensure secure and reliable access to business-critical applications and services.

Network Security: Configure and maintain network security appliances, firewall policies, and VPN connectivity in accordance with established security and infrastructure standards.

Network Protocols & Performance: Apply in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, SIP, and related networking technologies to maintain connectivity, investigate issues, and optimize network operations.

Voice & Unified Communications: Support the implementation and maintenance of Juniper and Dell voice-related solutions and associated network infrastructure. Troubleshoot voice connectivity and signaling issues involving SIP, H.323, relevant G-series voice codecs, and PSTN gateways.

Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex network hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Proactively investigate recurring problems, identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions to restore and maintain service.

Project Delivery & Implementation: Execute assigned network projects, installations, upgrades, and infrastructure changes in accordance with established objectives, schedules, and operational requirements.

Documentation & Configuration Management: Develop and maintain accurate documentation covering network designs, configurations, hardware, firmware, software, installations, upgrades, and operational procedures.

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with service providers, internal teams, and customers through ticketing systems, email, and telephone to resolve issues, manage service requests, and support successful implementations.

Strategic Planning & Technology Evaluation: Participate in network planning and technology reviews, evaluating existing hardware and software and recommending solutions that align with evolving business and end-user needs.
