The Master Agent Channel Manager is responsible for driving and executing on Avaya’s "go-to-market" strategy with assigned MA’s (Master Agents). This role will be the face of Avaya to the MA’s and requires knowledge and experience in working within a 2-Tier distribution environment, preferably for a UCaaS or CCaaS manufacturer.  Primary responsibility includes driving sales-out revenue and exceeding established revenue targets as well as goals & objectives. This individual will report to the U.S. Director of Field and Channel Marketing.

Manage day to day business issues with MA’s.Built and maintain relationships with key MA executives, sales teams and primary contact .Assist in quarterly marketing plan development and implementation, including activities and budget with distributor.Monitor pricing, special promotions, price adjustments, rebates, field discounts, price protection, stock rotations, credit, shipping and return issues.Ensure IT coordination, accurate SKUs in system, accurate and timely reports including POS, inventory, pipeline, forecast and lead management.Provide service and support to MA assist in pricing, process, quotes .Manage MA certifications, reseller levels, requirements and status.Coordinate support efforts with inside sales, external sales and technical groups within MA’s.Support MA recruitment by ensure targeted resellers and targeted MA’s s are coordinate with Avaya and CSD field resources.Develop strategic business plans, creative marketing programs and effective sales tools to increase revenue, market share, and mind share within CSD to grow individual reseller accounts.


5-7 years of strong working knowledge/experience in voice and/or IT networking systems and technologies, such as knowledge of switches, PBX s, PC s, servers, LAN, WAN and traditional voice capabilities.Demonstrated success in supporting/building VAD relationships.Self-motivated to deliver results with minimal supervision, while being a team player.Strategic thinker, but detail oriented.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Excellent phone presence, high degree of professional acumen.Fun loving, positive attitude excellent interpersonal skills.Experience in working closely with sales, marketing, client services, development, executive management and product management to meet the needs of the business.Successful history of achieving stretch goals and objectives
