ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Avaya’s Cloud strategy is strong and gaining tremendous momentum in the marketplace.  In this position you are the subject matter expert responsible for supporting our US Federal and State / Local Government and Education (SLED)  account teams with the charge of converting Avaya’s lucrative premise base and greenfield US Federal and SLED government customers to an Avaya OneCloud platform.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated success selling FedRAMP and B2B cloud solutions to a diverse set of customers, particularly the US Federal and SLED sector and their contractors, as well as the ability to drive business discussions with all relevant decision makers, influencers and users inside a prospect organization.

EXPERIENCE
 

  • Experienced
  • Minimum 7 years selling cloud platform solutions
  • Emphasis on selling to US Federal, State, Local, Education sector - succeeding through their buying processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
 

  • Working knowledge of communication platforms and applications will be useful could speed your path to success
  • Working understanding of business communication surrounding cloud environment connectivity could be a plus
  • Multi-level selling: Ability to sell from the C-Suite to User level

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Full time position supporting the North American geography you are assigned

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Cloud sales practical experience
  • 10 years of relevant experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales focusing on federal and SLED government clients
  • 5 years of experience working with the Government, SLED, Intelligence Community
  • TS-SCI Clearance preferred or agree to submission for security clearance
  • Cloud sales certifications preferred
  • Professional certification/s required
