About the Opportunity

The Collaboration Sales Specialist will work with customers to understand their conferencing needs and then guide them on how to improve this process with Avaya IX Spaces and their existing SaaS applications where applicable. 

The Specialist will collaborate directly with customers, but also leverage other resources within Avaya for system engineering and/or software customization/automation where applicable.

The ideal candidate understands how to start and drill down to the core business problem and then guides change/technology adverse users to embrace the new tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning new technologies and pairs that with the patience required to walk through users down a new path.

 

This role involves working with enterprise and mid-market customer to enable them on Avaya Spaces a cloud-based team collaboration application which meets their video and online meeting needs.

About the Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-level conversations with C-Level and VP -Level Executives to address business needs
  • Work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
  • Meet or exceed sales and product objectives
  • Effectively qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as required
  • Deliver client demos/ presentations, quotes/ proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Develop and maintain business within existing and new accounts
  • Manage complex sales situations and sales campaigns

About the Requirements

  • 10+ years of SaaS, IaaS sales experience in enterprise customer segment
  • Proven track record of exceeding the sales targets for a cloud-based collaboration and conferencing solution
  • Must have experience in selling solutions of the top 5 vendors in the conferencing space.
  • Experience in selling v1 and v2 video or web conferencing solutions is a plus
  • Ability to travel up-to 30% within US

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
