As an Avaya Cloud Cyber Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing cloud security consulting, technical and sales support, and leadership for major account opportunities throughout all phases of the sales cycle for cloud deals. Your focus will be to ensure the Avaya cloud solutions we propose to our Customers satisfy and meet our Customers’ security requirements and policies.
 

About the Responsibilities

Operates as a customer-facing resource representing the Avaya cloud security posture throughout all phases of the sales cycle for cloud deals and provides Avaya cloud security consulting, technical and sales support, and leadership for major account opportunities. Accountable for assigned revenue target/quota related to Avaya cloud deals. Consults with the customer or partner to discover issues and understand cloud security requirements; translates needs into fit for purpose Avaya cloud security designs/solutions. Applies knowledge of industry and product roadmaps and expertise with large enterprise security architectures and requirements to achieve trusted advisor status with account team and customer/partner. Delivers in-depth Avaya cloud security presentations to senior-level customers, partners, and prospects. Leads whiteboard discussions linked to specific customer/partner security needs. Handles security aspects of demos, trials, and proofs-of-concepts to customers, partners and prospects. Leads knowledge transfer sessions to educate the field, customers, and partners with the latest Avaya cloud security posture. Responsible for maintaining deep expertise on Avaya cloud security posture. Must maintain a strong understanding of the competitive marketplace and customer demand with respect to cloud security. Must maintain all relevant security certifications. Publishes white papers, design guides, and technical articles for internal or external use. Uses social media to communicate Avaya cloud security content. Participates regularly as lead speaker at internal, customer and partner events.

About the Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years related experience.
  • Affinity with Unified Communications or Contact Center solutions.
  • Has experience with security designs for large scale and complex (communication) system architectures, applications, customers, partners and implementations.
  • Experienced in selling and positioning of security solutions in a high touch, large enterprise consultative selling environment.
  • Formal security consulting and design experience is desirable.
