Short Description

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Marketing Operations and Analytics to lead process optimization and attribution initiatives within our Marketing Operations team. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics to optimize marketing strategies, enhance lead processing, and improve operational efficiency using Eloqua and Salesforce. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to present insights on campaign performance.
  • Operational Execution: Ensure strategic execution of marketing operations while being involved in both high-level decisions and detailed analytics.

Data Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Lead Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing leads (both direct and channel), identify bottlenecks in follow-up processes, and determine if issues arise from lead generation or operational inefficiencies.
  • Campaign Analysis: Measure effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns, define funnel KPIs, and build processes to support attribution models.
  • Unanswered Leads Strategy: Analyze unanswered leads to develop focused retargeting campaigns and process improvements for re-engagement.
  • Strategic Account Engagement: Assess leads from large strategic accounts and recommend operational adjustments to increase returns on investments.

Marketing Operations Management

  • Operational Optimization: Oversee Eloqua & Salesforce data management and automation workflows for seamless lead processing and cross-system integration.
  • Web Form Improvement: Collaborate with web teams to ensure accurate lead capture through optimized web forms.
  • Lead Scoring & Nurturing: Refine lead scoring models and nurturing workflows to align with business objectives.

Cross-functional Alignment

  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on goals and present insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead Operations: Partner with Demand Generation team, Field Marketers, IT teams, and Sales Development Representatives to support lead-related operations as leads move through CRM.

Sample Projects

  • Lead Effectiveness Study: Analyze direct & channel leads' journeys through the sales funnel to identify measurement gaps and present actionable insights.
  • Unanswered Leads Strategy Development: Develop strategies for identifying and re-engaging unanswered leads based on data analysis.
  • Strategic Account Engagement Analysis: Investigate the impact of marketing on large strategic accounts and their contacts, proposing metrics for improvement.
  • Operational Process Optimization: Evaluate operational tools for lead management efficiency and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills for developing metrics and models, aligning marketing data to business goals, and interpreting metrics to audience via clear storytelling.
  • Experience with Salesforce, including a deep understanding of reporting functionality and how marketing data and pipeline flows through systems (e.g. Leads, Contacts, Campaigns, Opportunities).
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Eloqua preferred) and their reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of database configuration, automation workflows, operations, and campaign performance analysis within Eloqua and Salesforce.
  • Experience using data and insights to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presenting results to leadership.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Looker Studio) a plus.
