Avaya’s OneCloud CCaaS and UcaaS  Solutions allow Customers to choose a private, public, or hybrid cloud model to support discrete services or holistic solutions.  They enable our customers to evolve, augment, federate and simplify via cloud communication and collaboration applications for Unified Communications, Video Collaboration and Contact Centers.

As Avaya’s Cloud Sales Executive you will identify and sell the ideal solution for our clients, by providing in-depth business and technology expertise with the ability to completely understand a customer’s business challenges and IT and Communications environment in order to identify potential opportunities and develop a business case to position value added CCaaS and UcaaS Cloud Services as part of a customer’s broader business and technology strategy to allow their businesses to flourish.

About the Responsibilities 

Reporting to the regional Cloud Sales Leader at Avaya, the Cloud and Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and overall business development of Avaya’s cloud business in the  UKI market.

•    Define and execute strategy for identifying, driving and closing OneCloud opportunities enabling customer outcomes and driving Avaya OneCloud. Completing account and territory planning which is aligned Avaya’s Cloud priorities for the account.
•    Build and maintain close working relationships with Sales and Account Executives, as well as Services delivery - ensuring clear understanding of the Avaya Cloud value proposition.  Form and use customer relationships to identify, pursue and close opportunities
•    Close deals through effective orchestration of the virtual team - owning Cloud opportunities end to end and using the correct resources ensure customer satisfaction and deal success
•    Meet or exceed revenue targets, maintain deal control through the lifecycle.  Executing sales excellence in pipeline hygiene, deal strategy, deal commitment & close planning.
•    Prospects for new Cloud opportunities within Avaya’s existing Customer base or “Greenfield” mid to large enterprise accounts. 
•    Engages in senior level Customer meetings to discuss Customer’s business issues and explores how Avaya’s Cloud offerings can help address and resolve these issues.
•    Acts as Area “evangelist” for Avaya’s Cloud business.

About You

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

•    10+ years’ experience selling large and complex Contact Centre and Unified Communications solutions to enterprises. 
•    Strong track record of success in selling large, multi-year Hosted/Managed and  Cloud/SaaS deals to Enterprise, Major Account and Public Sector customers. 
•    Strong negotiation skills, financial & business acumen 
•    Deep knowledge of: cloud services and business models; managed services; outsourcing: infrastructure, operations and applications; staff augmentation. 
•    Telecommunications experience desirable, but not required. 
•    Bachelor’s Degree.

•    Capable of reaching out and engaging with senior customer executives in enterprise organisations. Adept at developing relationships with senior level customer executives and decision makers.
•    Track record of reliably exceeding sales targets and achieving results by seeking out new leads and opportunities, mapping customers’ digital transformation strategy with Avaya Cloud solutions.
•    Skilled in engaging and influencing decision makers by successfully creating a case for customer change, and translating value propositions and solutions into Customer business outcomes
•    Proficient at setting direction and managing and multi-faceted virtual deal team to success, working in partnership across multiple virtual teams and in some instances, partner organisations.
•    Independent; self-motivated; high intellect; strong drive; high energy; pragmatic “no-nonsense” performer. 
•    Exceptional communication skills—verbal and written. 
•    Business savvy; strong financial aptitude.

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Master Degree is preferred but not essential
