About the Opportunity

Avaya’s new cloud solutions in the midmarket space come with a huge growth potential. We are looking for a Cloud Territory Account Manager in midmarket to cover Western Canada. To be successful in this role, you will need very strong sales hunting and funnel building skills. You will hunt directly for end customers, coordinate closely with Avaya’s Channel Partner communities (e.g. Master Agents, existing VARs, new agents), and then ensure the long term customer success. #LI-HK1

Aboout the Responsibilities

Hunt for new accounts and/or convert existing ones to cloud.

Build a funnel for cloud opportunities across Western Canada (BC to Manitoba and the Territories).

Lead a full sales cycle from lead identification to close.

Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (SE, Specialists, Marketing, Customer Success) for pre and post-sale engagements.

Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear closing strategies sales by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts.

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE
 

Proven experience in selling cloud SaaS solutions to SMB and Midmarket customers (preferably UCaaS & CCaaS).

Previous experience in multinationals is a plus.

Hunter sales experience including cold calling.

Working independently while collaborating with a cross functional team in a matrix organization.

 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
 

Understanding of cloud SaaS models (understanding UCaaS and CCaaS is a plus).

Complex selling, challenger approach, energetic demeanor, tenacity to win.

Exhibiting resourceful and strategic nature, maximizing leads, funnel building, pipeline management, and forecasting.

Salesforce.com proficiency.

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
