Short Description

Channel Account Manager

Manages all aspects of supporting, Converge One engagement within one of 3 Regions in the United States.The selected candidate will be a seasoned channel sales/business development executive who has scaled and built channel sales organizations within the US. Must have broad based business skills in planning, account management, sales reporting and a track record of success within the Channel. Seeking strategic thinkers with sound financial skills, analytic ability with a strong operational focus. Must be able to identify and assess market and partnership opportunities quickly.The selected candidate will sell the full stack of Avaya solutions via the Channel across hundreds of Converge One Account Managers. Must be a strong process thinker with a focus on execution and results driven.

Drives senior Converge One relationships to build a trusted advisor status, creating value and influencing Avaya’s position with them. Delivers maximum focus on company offerings by building relationships with high-touch Account Managers to ensure successful sales of solutions through Converge One.

Must be a strong communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivated to succeed. High integrity is also a required attribute in working across our Channel and with direct Avaya sellers. Will network regularly with various Converge One region to identify potential new customers and drive strategic sales, net new customers and Avaya Cloud offerings. Serves as a strategic consultant, advocating Avaya’s financial incentive programs and utilizing marketing and demand generation activities within a channel strategy that helps partners shape their strategy to drive growth for both Converge One and Avaya.

Functions as a trusted advisor of partner principles to gain full buy-in from Converge One and influence their go-to-Market behavior.

Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience.

10+ years related experience.

Candidates outside of Chicago will be considered - other major cities in Midwest/close to airport.

Master Degree is preferred
