About the Role
  • SW Engineer will develop and debug features, fix customer found bugs, and construct validation tests for Multimedia Server.
About the Responsibilities
  • Engineer for Media and Network server side development and maintenance
  • Develops features and fixes bugs in C/C++, and implements unit tests.
  • Automate and expand validation tests where possible
  • Measure benchmarks and optimize performance of media processing / networking.
  • Resolve interworking  and compatibility with other servers in the solution and 3’rd party video endpoints
About the Requirements

Skillset required: 

  • Solid C/C++ programming and debugging skills is required
  • Network coding experience with UDP, TCP, RTP
  • Heavy Experience with Linux plus some Windows development 
  • Good Familiarity / experience with video conferencing signaling and media standards including SIP, MPEG, H.264/AVC, G711, G722, OPUS, FEC
    • Worked with such tools / stacks as: FFMPEG, GStreamer, MediaSDK. WebRTC
  • Development process and development tools experience
    • AGILE development and Scum practices
    • JIRA Bug and task tracking
    • GIT 
    • Bamboo
    • Crucible – or other Code review tools
    • Wireshark / network analysis tools
    • Visual Studio, Visual Code, CMake, gdb and other linux tools
    • Python tools

Minimum Educational Requirement: 
BS Degree and 8 to 10 years’ experience
