Short Description

(i) Support and evolve current Java-based SIP session management, user element support, and routing design/code. Includes design/development for continuous flow of releases for the Avaya Session Manager product.   (ii) Contribute to evolution of architecture and packaging of SIP handling codebase to optimally operate in private and public cloud environments – meeting characteristics of scalability, reliability, security, elasticity, and optimal performance. (iii) participate in expansion of calling paradigm beyond SIP to support converged HTTP and SIP mixed based call and feature handling.

Required Skills

  • Strong Java language programming skills/experience
  • Skills/experience with IETF protocols like HTTP/S and SIP
  • Some Cloud contextual development knowledge/experience – Google, AWS, etc.
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral – good listener

Experience

2 - 3 Years experience or Engineer One equivalent

Education

Master degree or equivalent experience

Compensation section Pertains to Colorado applicants only

   (Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $94,400+ bonus + benefits.
