About The Opportunity


We’re looking for an experienced software engineer with a strong development background in Linux based products and applications. This position involves turning customer requirements into innovative, security conscious, software solutions. As a key contributor in a small cross-functional team, you must have the proven ability to architect, design, document, and troubleshoot robust software solutions to meet defined requirements.
Successful candidate must be a United States citizen holding a current Top Secret Clearance with full scope polygraph.  This is an onsite role so candidate must be located within a commutable distance to our Thornton, CO office

About You


What can you bring?
•    You have a passion for building software and solving hard technical problems.
•    You’re very comfortable with Linux and Linux-like environments.
•    Experience in C\C++ with exposure to multi-threading, object-oriented programing.
•    Good in scripting like bash, python, shell etc.
•    Programming experience for general data communication over Ethernet and IP networks (e.g., w/sockets) is a plus.
•    Right attitude towards work (self-learner, takes initiative, good team player).
•    Three or more years at the Engineer Three level, or 11+ years total experience.
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•    Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Additional skills which will be an advantage in execution of responsibilities:
•    UX/UI design experience
•    Development of device drivers in a Linux environment
•    GUI development in Java
•    Ability to effectively communicate complex, technical findings through documentation.
•    A background in developing products in telecommunications is highly desirable.

Compensation


The pay range for this opportunity is from $118,500 to $160,000 + performance-related bonus + benefits


This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
