ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Develops, supports, and tests electronic designs, including determination of hardware reliability. Acts as a key contributor in a more complex-critical environment; may coordinate activities of others and/or the team. Must have a proven ability to define electrical architecture of complete solution and work to completed design.  A key expectation of this individual will be that they have strong design documentation skills

Candidate must be highly competent in the design, debugging, and trouble-shooting of complex electrical circuits as well as comfortable in partnering with embedded software developers on OS, driver, and application layer software.

 

There will be the opportunity to work hybrid when not required onsite but as onsite work in lab will be required, applicants must be in commutable distance to our Thornton CO location.

ABOUT YOU

  • Embedded-system power design (working knowledge of DC/DC converter designs, hot-swap, etc)
  • Embedded microprocessor-based system architecture and design (high-speed digital design)
  • TDM busses (H.110, serial links, etc)
  • Ethernet interfaces (10/100/1000Base-TX, etc)
  • CPLD programming and debug (working knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL language, working knowledge of CPLD development tools)
  • PCB layout-related skills plus ability to use industry standard design and simulation tools
  • Design-For-x (-manufacturing, -environment, -test)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

 

Candidate should also be familiar and comfortable working within the following areas:

  • Cadence tools for printed wiring board design
  • Analog telephony interfaces
  • Media storage
  • Product Data Management  (PDM) environment use ( access and navigation )

COMPENSATION

The pay range for this opportunity is from $103,500 to $139,700 + performance-related bonus + benefits

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.

Experience

3 years experience at the Engineer Two level or 5 – 8 years total experience
