About the Opportunity

This role is an individual contributor with Avaya’s South Region Enterprise sales organization.  As a Named Account Manager (NAM), you will be tasked with managing some of Avaya’s largest accounts while helping to build our presence in the assigned geography.  The position involves prospecting, identifying, building, positioning and selling Avaya’s portfolio of solutions, including voice, collaboration, video and omnichannel contact center solutions, public and private cloud to direct and indirect accounts. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of the industry, ability to communicate at the C-level as well as go down the chain to manage the details of the account. Avaya is on a mission to modernize its base and take the customers on a journey passing through subscriptions and ending with Cloud. 

About the Responsibilities

  • Connect with the existing base at an executive level and draw a roadmap to cloud.
  • Build a funnel for modernizing the base.
  • Lead a full sales cycle from lead identification to close.
  • Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (SE, Specialists, Marketing, Customer Success) for pre and post-sale engagements.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear closing strategies sales by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in selling enterprise solutions in the UC and CC space.
  • Experience in building and managing funnel, and accurate forecasting.
  • Working independently while collaborating with a cross functional team in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to conduct a conversation and build a relation at C-levels.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, and ability to simplify complex concepts.  
  • Complex selling, challenger approach, energetic demeanor, tenacity to win.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Full time / Remote / Florida

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably business or technology related).
