About the Role

The Brazil RSL directs, supervises and mentors field sales associates to achieve unit revenue, profitability, and expense objectives.  Position will report into CALA VP.

About the Responsibilities

  • Assigns territories and accounts to field sales associates. 
  • Ensures that field sales are successful in owning and driving revenue growth for accounts and partners. 
  • Drives a culture of achievement; meets regional quota by training field sales on appropriate sales activities, new account prospecting, building strong relationships, developing account managers to drive additional growth, and leveraging the sales network. 
  • Creates strong relationships with the largest customers to build a trusted advisor status. 
  • Provides assistance and/or escalation with different customer problems, channel conflict, and participates in important negotiations with key customers. 
  • Coordinates and reviews field sales strategies and account plans. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that the segment has the right talent to achieve goals. Recruits talent, and is able to organize team with a plan for progressing and replacing sales talent. Plays a key role in onboarding new sales talent. 
  • Assists in planning sales strategy and training/coaching field sales associates.

About the Requirements

  • An experienced revenue generator and manager with a proven track record of exceptional results. A well-known professional in the industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen, current on marketplace changes and able to adapt sales/account strategies accordingly.
  • Exceptional people skills and capable of influence in resolving problems and conflicts.
  • Builds strong and long term relationships with C-Levels.
  • Able to lead direct and indirect teams in order to exceed results.
  • Understands Avaya’s business cycle and creates short and long terms strategies and actions plans in accordance.
  • Strong analytical skills. Understand synthetize and solve complex situations, is a most.
  • Typically requires 8 - 12 years’ experience in pre-sales and sales.
  • People Management background & behaviors is required
  • MBA is desired.
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.
