Job Information

We are looking for a  Senior Product Marketing manager to lead outbound marketing activities for Avaya’s portfolio of Unified Communications and Collaboration.  You will be responsible for go-to-market execution, product launches, thought leadership and sales enablement for specific services within the portfolio, targeting global enterprise and partner segments. 
 

For this role, you must be both a creative and quantitative thinker.  This person should also have a strong understanding of cloud communications and unified conferencing solutions

Short Description
  • Develop the product marketing plans and define the communications strategy and launches to deliver against the annual revenue plan that increases sales and grows market share
  • Develop compelling positioning and messaging that differentiates our unified communications solutions in the market, across all segments and buyer personas
  • Plan launches of new products and releases, manage the plan by collaborating with product management, sales and support teams
  • Work with creative services, digital services, and other teams to develop collateral including eBooks, presentations, whitepapers and infographics, and support integrated marketing campaigns
  • Ensure all relevant materials and content are maintained on Portals and company website
  • Work with customer facing activities including event, industry analyst updates and partner forums
  • Work with sales enablement activities for sales and channel partners and be the subject matter expert to deliver content

Long Description

 

  • Product Marketing experience in Enterprise Software (5-7 years) – industry background in telecoms and unified communications preferred
  • Experience positioning technical products to both technical and business buyers
  • Excellent content creation skills, ability to quickly understand technical concepts and translate these into customer benefits
  • Experience in developing go-to-market plans and competitive analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent content creation skills
  • BS / BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
Education
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
