Job Information

As the Director, Cloud Product Marketing, you will lead the development of specific go-to-market plans for Avaya’s growing portfolio of cloud services offers.  You will craft the positioning & messaging to help accelerate our Public, Private and Hybrid cloud offers (UC + CC + CPaaS). You will develop a clear understanding of the markets and buyers and develop innovative marketing programs based on the key drivers that will drive demand.  You will work cross-functionally with your product marketing counterparts to drive a broader SaaS positioning in the markets Avaya serves. 

Short Description

This role requires experience working in an enterprise technology and SMB settings, bringing both demonstrated expertise in SaaS around unified communications and contact center offers.  Excellent written skills, attention to detail and ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.   A Bachelor's degree is required and a Master degree is preferred.

Long Description
  • Oversee Avaya’s Cloud messaging and positioning for both external and internal audiences
  • Communicate the vision and value of new SaaS products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
  • Leverage strong content creation background to develop sales tools, including videos, whitepapers, datasheets and campaigns
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Drive the cloud story across the marketing team and partner with subject-matter experts to generate marketing content that feeds demand generation initiatives
  • Define the voice and develop rich personas that drive feature positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Experience with SEM and digital marketing campaigns including creating compelling CTAs and assets
