Short Description

Manages assigned strategic account(s) (identified target accounts which are viewed as key strategic accounts) on a global basis. Provides professional leadership and coordination of sales/support teams for their account(s). Plans, organizes, leads, and controls balanced sales growth, continued account penetration, and customer satisfaction on a long term, multi-year focus. Implement the sales strategy to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in marketplace. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to expand sales. Identify new accounts to sell products and services to, to fulfil turn over objectives Maintain a high-profile Avaya presence in the market place through the creation of win-win situations with customers that turn a sales relationship into a long-term commercial partnership. Control costs to ensure that expenditure is being managed in line with budgets. Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives. Maintains high-level executive contact with account(s), focusing on the establishment and maintenance of a strategic relationship. Quota Size: Medium/Large. Territory / Account Size: Global Product Responsibility: Products and/or Services. Formal training in sales techniques; Demonstrable track record of successful sales in the Voice/Data/Networking Industry; experience selling complex technical solutions to executive management; Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers; Ability to work well with team members and collaborate effectively across the extended sales team. People Management: May have direct or indirect reporting regional sales people.
