Primary Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage the overall global insurance program including insurance placements, negotiations, coverage review and claims management for all lines of coverage.
  • Work with brokers, insurers, and service providers, on the design, implementation, and monitoring of administration of global programs.
  • Review operational activities to continually evaluate the adequacy of insurance coverage, identify gaps or enhancements to ensure appropriate coverage levels.
  • Lead quarterly Workers Compensation claims reviews.
  • Approve reserve adjustment and claim settlement requests.
  • Create and communicate Risk Management processes and procedures to business stakeholders
  • Partner and coordinate with legal, procurement, sales and business partners on negotiation of indemnification and insurance terms in customer, supplier and other service provider contracts.
  • Monitor and review periodic claims and reports and provide trend analysis for all lines of insurance coverage.
  • Monitor insurance program budgets and ensure that programs are cost-effective and funds are managed prudently.
  • Develop and conduct risk management training and educational programs.

  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects concurrently and keep to deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, record keeping and follow-up
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  Ability to inform and persuade to all levels of management
  • Strong engagement skills that build credibility and influence with stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to take on additional projects

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide ad hoc analysis and Treasury project support as needed, which may include at the Board, executive or senior management levels
  • Provide support to M&A initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 controls
  • Keep abreast of new issues and best practices in the field of Risk Management


  • Strong analytical ability to identify risks, analyze and implement solutions and manage data
  • Thorough knowledge of risk management techniques, concepts and lines of insurance coverage
  • Ability to understand the company’s operations and risks and creatively implement policies and programs to proactively manage risk and minimize losses
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to unique and challenging problems
7 - 10 Years of Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
