Short Description

We're looking for a Front-End Software Developer with a passion for UX & UI design who can deliver cloud-based software solutions using the latest technologies and frameworks. You’ll be designing, building and testing in a fast pace agile environment and working closely with designers and full-stack developers to align your efforts across multiple solutions.

Our UX & UI team members include designers, researchers, developers, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We need our developers to be versatile and passionate to take on new challenges as we continue to push cloud technology forward.

You must demonstrate analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge coding skills. You live and breathe the fundamentals of JavaScript (not just jQuery), CSS3, and HTML5, and command an elite portfolio of front-end design skills.

  • You will be responsible for creating high quality digital experiences for cloud-based solutions.
  • Work closely with Senior UI/UX lead, designers, and Full-Stack Engineers to convert wireframes and visual designs into pixel perfect coded prototypes.
  • Develop, maintain and update front-end user interfaces for cloud solutions.
  • Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers, designers and engineers.
  • Generate components from wireframes and prototypes for user interaction testing
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX challenges (e.g. responsiveness, not accessible)
  • Develop and maintain brand/design specifications, UX/UI patterns, Design System libraries,
  • creative documents and other design standards.
  • Have strong critical thinking abilities and the mindset to deal with ever growing complex web frontend development including but not limited to: Troubleshooting, logging collection (to server maybe), WebRTC media processing, API integrations, browser side performance optimization, and knowing different browser’s behaviors.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • University Degree, College Diploma, Certification in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in web application design and development
  • Portfolio demonstrating skills & work, including experience designing digital products from scratch
  • Proficient with web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and experience with web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and work arounds
  • Proficient with npm/yarn, Bootstrap/Flexbox layouts.
  • Experience working with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards
  • Experience working with JS frameworks (React.js/Redux/)
  • Experience working other frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, (Flutter is also desirable)
  • Experience working with code versioning tools (GIT)
  • Experience working with build, packaging and continuous integration tools and frameworks
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision or any other similar like tools
