As a key member of the Brand and Editorial team, you’ll act as Avaya’s brand guardian, maintaining brand integrity and strengthening our identity. You’ll help support every aspect of our business, from strategy to execution, across all company marketing initiatives and communications, and our portfolio of solutions.


•    Lead Avaya’s brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition.
•    Commission research, synthesize information, and analyze data to continually optimize positioning, inform briefs, and track brand perception and performance.
•    Work across the organization for brand alignment and set policies for adhering to brand guidelines with business leads, agency partners and media.
•    Monitor, evaluate, and understand innovative marketing activity within our industry and best in class everywhere.
•    Support planning and execution of brand marketing campaigns.
•    Manage corporate sponsorships and ensure the integrity and accurate representation of the Avaya brand.
•    Manage Avaya solution brands, including naming and nomenclature strategy and execution.
•    Review materials to ensure brand consistency and assist or advise as required.
•    Manage relationships with vendors who supply brand-related deliverables.
•    Manage our internal website as the source for distributing/supplying brand materials.  
•    Mentor individuals and teams, worldwide, regarding best practices for brand consistency.
•    Collaborate with our global marketing teams regularly to help interpret the brand in international markets.
•    Own the brand marketing budget and translate brand objectives into detailed budget and resource plans.





•    10+ years experience in marketing B2B or B2C technology in client environments or marketing/advertising/branding agencies or consultancies
•    Experience in SaaS or technology marketing and promotion
•    Experience in brand development and compliance    

•    Experience with global brands preferred


•    Strong background in strategic brand development and management
•    Ability to focus on both brand image and public perception
•    Ability to interpret brand strategy into tactical executions such as brand look, feel and messaging 
•    Ability to evaluate creative materials and help teams align to brand  
•    Ability to simplify and streamline internal processes ensuring brand compliance 
•    Experience in developing and managing naming and nomenclature strategy across product lines   
•    Strong cross-functional and project management skills to manage internal and external teams and projects
•    Effective in fast-paced, highly competitive category
•    Strong focus on results
•    Relationship and management skills; great communicator 


Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related fields


(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $115,100.00 + bonus + benefits.
•    Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
