Short Description

Avaya Professional Services (APS) is looking for an experienced Strategic Growth leader to join us as a Managing Director. For this role you will need expertise in either Cloud Migration, Cloud Security, Big Data/Business Analysis or CPaaS/third party integrations. Successful conceptualization and execution of initiatives under these categories will drive more than $20m of new sales which you will be accountable for. Your initiatives will also drive the next generation of professional services and consulting approaches to Avaya customers. Candidates with strong experience of Cloud or Security Product Management will be well suited to the role. Six Sigma Black Belts with a telecommunications background will also be strong candidates.

       

        Primary job responsibilities

        •    Develop new wave sales offers around Cloud, Security, Big Data or CPaaS.

        •    Successfully drive $20m of incremental sales through all available channels.

        •    Build and launch campaigns and tools with the Avaya teams to drive future pipeline.

        •    Be a thought leader, writing White Papers and social content.

        •    Evangelize and personify a consulting led business outcome approach to sales.  

       

              

   

Required Skills

        •    Product Management or Black Belt Six Sigma experience is highly advantageous.

        •    10 years of experience. Perhaps managing; enterprise sales, professional services, business partners or product management. 

        •    A track record of success.

        •    Unified Communications or Contact Center experience is desired but not essential.

        •    Big picture thinking on emerging products and technologies.

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
