Short Description
Job Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst / Sr Analyst is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the inventory management system. The goal is to ensure optimal stock levels, accuracy, and integrity across all locations while minimizing costs and obsolescence. This role involves working cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and achieve best-in-class inventory performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy & Integrity
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure all transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments) are recorded in ERP/WMS systems in real-time.
• Maintain data integrity for master data, including product codes, units of measure, and stock locations.
• Manage cycle counting programs and periodic physical inventories.
System & Process Enhancement
• Optimize ERP (e.g., SAP) and WMS functionalities for better inventory control and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational flow.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, vendor, reverse logistics, and finance teams to synchronize strategies.
• Provide leadership and training to warehouse staff on best practices for inventory handling.
• Generate and present regular inventory reports and KPIs to senior management.
Loss Prevention & Auditing
• Implement procedures to minimize inventory shrinkage, damage, and loss.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inventory audits.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory management or logistics, with at least 5 years in an Analyst/Sr Analyst role leading teams.
• Systems: Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with Macros is highly desirable.
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
Core Knowledge
• In-depth understanding of inventory principles: EOQ, Safety Stock, ABC Analysis, and forecasting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and distribution.
