The Solutions and Technologies (S&T) group is looking for an outstanding Engineering leader who can leverage their expertise and product vision to help lead and grow our Cloud Contact Center team and product portfolio. As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for delivering customer value incrementally, leading a team of engineers of all disciplines and take ownership from inception to field support, working with our Engineering, Platform and Product teams in executing toward that vision.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own feature development throughout the software development lifecycle
• Own performance engineering and quality assurance as part of the software development lifecycle
• Define technical processes, systems, and tools; oversee benchmark environments and associated infrastructure for optimal performance, scalability and quality
• Enable documentation of the implemented performance methodologies for repeatability and best practices
• Mentor and motivate the team, creating a healthy and collaborative work environment
• Timely communicate risks and deviations
• Contributes to an open and transparent workspace
• Provide input to customer documentation, knowledge transfer and training materials
• Support customer escalations as necessary related to areas of ownership
• Contribute to the architectural evolution for areas of ownership to drive operational improvement and customer satisfaction
ABOUT YOU
EXPERIENCE
• People management
• Experience building event-driven and big data systems
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks a plus
• Proven experience in performance engineering methodologies for distributed systems
• Experience in benchmarking large-scale enterprise workloads and data analysis
• Knowledge in performance monitoring and profiling tools
• Knowledge in data infrastructure and systems architecture a big plus
• Experience in developing cloud-native applications a plus
• Proven experience with one or more scripting languages
• Demonstratable debugging and system analysis skills
• Proven experience consuming and producing APIs & SDKs
• Proven experience in Network Programming
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker and associated cloud technologies
• Experience using Public Cloud platforms
• Exposure to Automation & testing frameworks
• Working with CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Agile Methodologies
• Experience on migrating on prem to cloud solutions a plus
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Cloud Computing
• Background in Python, Java or Golang
• Exposure to Shell Scripting, Javascript, Typescript, Angular, React an advantage
• Exposure to GIT and Jenkins an advantage
• Experience in industry-standard and custom benchmark workloads and profiling tools
• Exposure to multi-tier application environments (front, middle and backend) and distributed systems
• Knowledge in system design involving compute, memory, storage, and networking for performance optimzations, exposure to acceleralors an advantage
• Knowledge/Experience in Contact Centre and/or voice/digital communications an advantage
• Knowledge/Experience in API definition/development an advantage
• Knowledge/Experience in developing applications that can be targeted at both cloud and on-premise deployment an advantage
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate details and collaborate effectively
• You are self-driven and take on responsibility; When issues arise, you can proactively pull people together to solve them.
• Excellent communication and presentations and ability to explain technical details to a variety of audiences
