Team:  Avaya Technology and Consulting (ATAC) - Pre-Sales Design and Solutions Team, Sales Engineering Team.

Job Description:
This technical job will have multiple roles within pre-sales that supports Avaya internal Technical Presales and selected business partners. Acting as a “Solution Design Engineer” responsibility is to provide support on solution designing and consultation, along with creation of Sales Quotations using A1S/ASD/SAP/ and other related Sales tools/processes within the established Service Level Objectives.

Selected candidate is required to learn and develop in-depth understanding of Avaya’s Solutions, including UC, CC, Breeze, Virtual platforms and various Enterprise solution offerings. The selected candidate is also expected to learn Avaya Solutions from Overview, Positioning, Architecture, Sizing, Licensing and finally designing the complete solution in A1S Tool (after understanding customer’s requirements) and providing accurate design Solution and technical pre-sales consultation support to the Avaya Internal and external Sales channels. He/She should be able to design and present cross-portfolio solutions to Avaya Sales and technical audiences and should work well with team and other associates to develop technical solutions.

This position provides the primary interface between the company/Product Management and the Sales channels/Business Partners, and Product Management as and when needed.


Required Skills
• PreSales Knowledge on Various Avaya Enterprise Solutions for CC, UC and Breeze offerings such as Avaya Aura Solutions, Equinox, Contact Center- Routing (Elite, AACC, Oceana), Reporting and Recording (WFO(s)) Solutions and various Adjuncts.
• Great ability and agility to “learn new Technical solutions on the Go”.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Positive attitude and Focus on Supporting SEs/AMs and BPs.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and relate them to our products and Solutions.
• Knowledge of Telecommunications Technology.
• Understanding of H.323, SIP and VoIP Protocols.

Additional desired Skills
• Knowledge on Sales Tools like A1S, ASD, and SAP etc.
• Good understanding of the Sale Cycle.

Qualifications:
• BE / MCA or equivalent
• Avaya Technical Certifications. e.g. APDS, ACDS, CTP etc. or Nortel, or Cisco, or Microsoft.
• Knowledge on Avaya Competitor solutions will be an added advantage


Experience   :       4-7 Yrs (min. of 3 years with Avaya Products - with good concepts)

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

ACE certification or its equivalent
