About Opportunity

As a Product Manager for our Unified Communications portfolio, you will run your area of responsibility like a business, owning the product lifecycle from initial conception through end-of-life. You will act as the "voice of the customer," translating complex market needs into financially viable and technically superior UC solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth in communication protocols and business acumen to ensure our products remain competitive in an evolving digital landscape.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the UC product roadmap, ensuring accountability for the financial success and market penetration of your assigned features.
  • Customer Advocacy: Engage directly with external customers to identify pain points in their communication workflows and translate these into actionable engineering requirements.
  • Strategic Transitions: Plan and execute major product transitions, such as cloud migrations or software launches, to eliminate revenue risk and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong connections across engineering, marketing, sales, and services to ensure the product is absorbed quickly by the market.
  • Technical Advisory: Serve as a subject matter expert on UC technologies, guiding internal stakeholders on best practices and technical evaluation criteria.

What we are looking for -

  • UC Domain Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of Product Manager or Solution Architect experience specifically within the Unified Communications (UC) industry, including deep knowledge of VoIP, SIP, collaboration tools, and cloud-based communication (UCaaS).
  • Avaya Ecosystem (Preferred): Hands-on experience with Avaya Infinity, Avaya Aura, or related ecosystem components is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage P&L components and create financially viable solutions that complement a global product portfolio.

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Related Field
