Short Description
Monitors and maintains technology and infrastructure services support to the business and works with IT organizations and 3rd party service providers to ensure that 'best in class' services are provided to the end users and that procedures are standardized and aligned with industry best practice and the IT Information Library framework. May have any of the following responsibilities: supports the partnership between IT managers and business leaders to obtain business requirements and development plans; installs end user equipment, software, and telecommunications systems/networks and consults with the client regarding PC/Workstation and software problems and malfunctions; supports and administers routine computer systems or databases; resolves issues regarding installations, setups, error messages, system statues and downtime procedures and voice communications; provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems or malfunctions of all systems applications, hardware and software; provides basic user administration, assigns passwords and administers access rules. Goals and objectives are assigned by an immediate supervisor. Work performed depends on others for instruction, guidance, and direction. Deals with routine to moderately complex problems or issues.
