Short Description

You will serve as a product and industry expert, effectively describing and demonstrating our solution as well as promoting our vision and approach during the pre-sales processes. You will be a trusted point of contact for our customers, but you will also keep a focus on advancing the sales process. The best candidates for this position will have a track record of success in being technically proficient as well as customer savvy. You must have an excellent knowledge of the requirements and challenges enterprises (small and large) face with customer experience management. You will create solutions that incorporate both Avaya Customer Experience products and related professional services. This position will produce high level solution design work for complex CX solution implementations. You will be working closely with internal resources to develop deals across multiple Avaya/Verint based solutions. This position will be meeting directly with clients, leading technical sessions, as well as working closely with the sales team so excellent communication and presentation skills are a must. You will work very closely with account executives to help them better understand how Avaya brings value to their clients and be a player in the growth of their Avaya practice. This is a very visible role and you will be noticed. You’ll also be joining a team of great people.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for development and delivery of Avaya/Verint CX solution demonstrations
  • Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Able to travel throughout sales territory
Qualifications
  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in customer experience solutions consulting, implementation and/or program management
  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports
  • Experience presenting alongside sales and professional services colleagues during the pre-sale phase is a must
  • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Must be prepared for approximately 40% - 60% regional and national travel
  • Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus
  • An undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or a related field, MBA preferred
