About the Opportunity


You will be part of an international team, creative and highly-dynamic marketing team that develops innovative and exciting marketing and communication programmes on cloud, and real time business communications to serve Avaya customers with best in classs solutions, and contribute to their long-term success. You will be a key contributor to Avaya customer experience excellence in France, working closely with the France Leadership Team.



  • Develop a consistent field marketing plan for France in line with Global marketing strategy and guidelines, define budget requirements, and execute it effectively accordingly to FY ROI targets
  • Focus on UCC and Contact Center solutions accordingly to the Avaya Cloud Strategy
  • Focus on Lead Generation Campaigns and Programme as Priority 1
  • Develop a Digital Marketing Plan, integrating Global Digital and Social Media Strategy with local focused tactics per quarter and per year
  • Coordinate local marketing agency to optimize budget and results
  • Create, develop and execute marketing events/webinars/special programmes targeting both End Users (Customers and Prospects) and Partners. Overall organization and ownership in details: from target-segmentation and database strategy (EU-GDPR), to the whole invitations process, support to presentations and content working together with other function teams i.e. Sales Engineering, Sales, by creating event’s theme, booking venues, identifying the most effective demo to showcase, sponsorships management, suppliers coordination etc.
  • Define and manage efficient channel marketing plan working closely with Channel Sales Team and Partners, assuring positive ROI and effective funds allocation process by channel and by activity category
  • PR activity: coordinate and support content & messaging, managing local PR agency; localise, review and translate in French marketing collaterals, brochures, flyers to be used with End Users, Influencers, Press, Analysts and Partners
  • Collaborate closely with Partner and Sales Enablement Team in order to effectively inform and update Partners and Sales on new solutions, new product launches, promotions, incentives etc.
  • Accurate Reporting: weekly, monthly, quarterly, leveraging internal marketing process and tools
About You


To be successful in this role you will have a strong market knowledge, business intelligence and a data driven mindset to provide solid and scientific background for effective marketing plan guidance and support to sales planning and decisions.


  • Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
  • From 2 years’ experience, ideally within in an international environment
  • Experience across the marketing mix
  • Digital marketing and social media skills essential
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable with Excel, pivot tables, market data audit and analysis essential
  • High energy, curiosity, flexibility, hard-worker, self-motivated, independent worker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, valuable team worker in-country and internationally (intra and inter-functionally)
  • Fluent French verbal and written
  • English business level - verbal, written, read (another European language would be a plus i.e. Spanish, Italian, Polish, Romanian or Greek)
  • Motivated to grow a career in Marketing
