About the Opportunity

Avaya sales are growing in Ottawa, and we are looking for a high energy, talented individual to fill a Sales position that is strategic to future growth.  We are looking for Territory Sales Manager to join our high energy team and grow the business.

To be successful you will need to have the ability to think and execute both tactically and strategically. The position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the customer relationship, including but not limited to:  maintaining and executing on existing projects, developing new opportunities within existing accounts, working closely with our channels towards the development of new opportunities, building relationships at all levels of the customer organization, developing new customers within the account list and meeting or exceeding annual sales quota.  #LI-HK1

About the Responsibilities

  • High Energy hunter and grow the customer base
  • Be a customer advocate to the organization
  • Be a Solutions advocate to the customer, including Unified Communications, Contact Center, Cloud, Subscription, on premise, Professional Services, and alliance partner solutions
  • Work with channel partners and grow the channel base.
  • Take ownership of the flow of information and transactions between both customer and our product organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the customer organization, having an ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Keep abreast of industry and customer trends, constantly developing new opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Take ownership and accountability of sales forecast accuracy, reporting and adjusting on an ongoing basis.
  • Meet and exceed sales quota, building proper strategies to grow the business year over year

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE
 

  • Experience selling into the Ottawa or Eastern Ontario marketplace
  • Prior inside sales experience required
     

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
 

  • Knowledge of telecommunications or Cloud industry,
  • Knowledge of Software as a Service Cloud solutions
  • Excellent skills in the area of:  presentations, negotiations, listening.
  • Bilingual preferred (French – English)
     

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 

  • Ability to work remotely

 

 

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
 

  • University degree preferred or equivalent experience and education
