Short Description

Avaya is looking for a Product Manager to join our IX Workspaces team to bring exciting user experience capabilities into Workspaces. This opening is a once in a lifetime opportunity in building business features that augment the skills of our users. You will work closely with our Contact Center product managers, User Research, UX Designer, and R&D teams to define and develop an Avaya Workspaces solution to the next level.

 

Avaya IX Workspaces changes the game with a consolidated desktop view of customer information and streamlined management of both voice and digital channels. It provides a 360-degree view of the end-to-end journey of customers that gives agent visibility into what customers want before they know themselves. Avaya IX Workspaces empower agents to deliver experiences that matter with actionable, relevant data via an integrated, easy-to-use desktop interface, Web Components, and widget framework API. IX Workspaces eliminate disjointed experiences when customers evolve from their established voice to Avaya omnichannel Contact Center solutions, a critical pillar of Avaya’s layered innovation strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Curate new ideas and develop product vision, strategy and feature priority of Avaya Workspaces across Avaya CC portfolio with emphasis on user experience and business value
  • Work directly with customers, users, UX designers and other product management stakeholders to define and communicate a cohesive Avaya workspaces roadmap 
  • Collaborate with R&D, author epics and user stories that can be effectively injected into the global engineering workstream using agile development methods 
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify gaps, research emerging web and mobile UX trends, and areas where strategic innovation in the area of user experience is both merited and fruitful 
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to generate outbound messaging that will guide the development of sales and marketing collateral, white papers presentations, and demo materials 
  • Champion the needs of the user throughout the development process and with the broader Avaya team
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business field required. UX or ID degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-tech software product management environment with experience in UI Front End Design for Contact Center or Web-based Applications.  CTI understanding is a plus.
  • Proven track record of delivering software applications with world-class user experience
  • Superior evangelism, communication, presentation, and requirements specification skills
