Short Description

The Managing Director will provide overall strategic direction for third-party vendors, communicate goals, provide scorecard results and create tools to increase revenue. He/she will work closely with Implementation, Engineering, Marketing, and Installation and Maintenance teams to improve quality and maximize sales opportunities; Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance of sales teams; Handle customer escalations and resolution of complex customer issues; Execute action plans to position sales for maximum revenue retention and market penetration; Utilize all reports and tools to uncover opportunities and provide strategy to the sales teams; Understand Avaya product lines and differentiators; Identify training gaps, prepare & deliver training and analyze effectiveness; Coordinate and attend various events at trade shows, third-party vendor & Avaya office locations.

Responsibilities

Developing regional “go-to-market” programs and supporting product launches throughout third-party ecosystem.

Work with Avaya Legal and Commercial Management on designing the third-party vendor contract and terms

Build collateral, training and marketing campaigns for the third-party portfolio.

Align Avaya and third-party sales & pre-sales teams

Perform all sales management activities which includes contract negotiations, pipeline management, sales operations and executive leadership.

Evaluate overall performance to improve individual third-party vendor strategies.
