ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
You will be working in a critical role which will ensure the success of the FED/SLED project team. FED/SLED is engaged in projects which support Federal contracts for many agencies in the US Government arena as well as State/Local and Education organizations throughout the United States.
In this role you will be responsible for helping manage orders, assist the Project and Program Managers with reviewing budget items and finances of the projects, ensuring project details are accurately reported, opening Purchase Orders, submitting invoices and working with others in coordination of resources, examining project artifacts and conducting drop ship order activities.
You will assist the Area Manager with projects as directed. Work with the project team to ensure projects are compliant with internal and financial requirements and assist in corrections as necessary.
ABOUT YOU
Must be detail oriented, have excellent time management skills, working with the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular strong Word and Excel skills is a requirement for this fast-paced position.
A basic understanding of Microsoft Project, Katana, and strong familiarity with Microsoft Windows.
It is desirable to have basic finance principals and an ability to compare relative data across several platforms to ensure accuracy.
A background in IT project management and excellent communication skills is preferred.
BA/BE in IT or 3 years of experience in an IT project related discipline is highly desired.
COMPENSATION
The pay range for this opportunity is from $74,900 to $101,100 + performance-related bonus + benefits
This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
