Short Description

The Business Development CAM is tasked with the identification, recruitment and onboarding of net new resellers of Avaya Solutions in major markets within their respective region.  This will include the recruitment of partners and partner types that focus on Digital Transformation, IOT and Vertical Market Solutions.  Expectation is that the CAM will come to the position with a distinct history of working with channel partners and is well known in the VAR community. The CAM manages all aspects of partner engagement for targeted recruitment partners. Sells the full stack of Avaya solutions by generating "pull" demand through indirect sales-oriented activities to end users. Drives senior partner relationships to build a trusted advisor status, creating value and influencing Avaya’s position with targeted recruitment partners. Delivers maximum focus on company offerings by building relationships with high-touch and channel teams to ensure successful sales of solutions through channel partners. Newly recruited partners to be certified and selling within six months. Networks regularly with local business groups and forums to identify potential new partners. Serves as a strategic consultant, advocating Avaya’s financial incentive programs and utilizing marketing and demand generation activities within a channel strategy that helps partners shape their strategy to drive growth for both partners and Avaya. Functions as a trusted advisor of partner principles to gain full buy-in from the partner and influence partner behavior. Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience. 10 years + related experience. Candidates in the Northeast other than New York will be considered.
