Short Description

The Senior Director, Communications & Media will be a highly regarded commercial executive who will play a key role in building Avaya’s US/Canada business in the Communications & Media vertical market.

The primary objectives will be to:

  • Develop a comprehensive business plan and outcome-based vertical strategy that drives incremental revenue for both Avaya and clients.
  • Ensure that the team has the right talent to achieve goals. Recruit talent and organize the team with a strategy for progressing and replacing sales talent.
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients across functional areas including sales, product/service development, marketing, and business development.
  • Create and track pipeline and close deals by partnering in the channel, the ecosystem, and with clients
  • Integrate Avaya offers and solutions as part of turnkey SP solutions, combined with additional offerings for SPs.
  • Evangelize the outcome- and ecosystem-led value for clients, that is only possible via partnering with Avaya
  • Head and facilitate executive QBRs and influence executive alignment.
  • Work with client management teams as their primary interface with Avaya.
