Description

Develops, presents and sells software and application solutions which deliver outcome-based business impact to the customer that best align with and leverage the customer’s existing applications environment and IPT Infrastructure within an assigned geography or set of clients.  Fully accountable for specific revenue target (quota) and sales growth within the specific area of specialty, proactively identifies and qualifies opportunities to build and manage a pipeline.

 

  • Account Management
    • Actively participate and/or lead activities that grow the funnel for Advanced Solutions
    • Participate in regular sales team calls
    • Understand your opportunities and where they are in the sales cycle.  Be prepared to provide real time updates when requested.
    • Update Salesforce or other tools as required.
    • Participate in forecast calls and understand the deal structure and elements of opportunities, i.e., One Time Services, Product, Recurring, Subscription, Cloud, etc.
    • This opportunity is posted for NY Metro, but all candidates in the Northeast will considered.  #LI-HK1

Discovery and Solution Development
  • Discovery
    • Early engagement with clients is critical to successful outcome-based solution selling
    • Translate business process to actionable workflows for client business units.
    • Develop analysis, create documents aligned to goals/requirements and present recommendations to solve identified business challenges.
    • Work closely with the Account Manager and Sales Engineer to develop strategy and solution approach for each client
  • Solution Development
    • Achieve a technical understanding of Avaya’s portfolio of advanced solutions to include those solutions offered by third parties. 
    • Validate designed solution requirements are correctly gathered to provide to the Solution Sales Consultant team for accurate pricing 
Experience
10+ Years of Experience
Education
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
