This position requires a blend of technical execution and professional customer-facing engagement:

Develop Demos: Architecting and deploying full-stack apps and developing AI agents to showcase technology.

Deliver Demos to Enterprise Customers: Joining high-level meetings to present technical demos and translating complex logic into business value for stakeholders.
Location: New York City - Manhattan. There is some flexibility in the location, however the individual should expect weekly customer demos in the NYC Avaya Office Briefing Center.

Building Trust and Credibility: Providing tangible "show me, prove that you have it" demonstrations is vital for rebuilding and maintaining customer trust in Avaya as a long-term, viable partner.

RFP Compliance and Demonstrations: Meeting customer requirements in RFPs often necessitates real, working demonstrations to prove compliance with specified capabilities. This role is critical for Avaya’s New York City Executive Briefing Center.

Covering Expanding Capabilities: As Avaya Infinity's capabilities broaden, the complexity of sales demos increases, requiring dedicated resources to develop comprehensive use cases and integration examples.

Developing Advanced AI Demos: The developer will create AI Agents using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to showcase advanced examples and use cases of Avaya's cutting-edge technology.
Overview
Role Overview:
We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack Developer to lead the creation of high-impact technical demonstrations showcasing Avaya’s communication technology. This is a unique role requiring deep technical execution in web html, React, Node.js and AI integrations, paired with the professional presence to engage with enterprise customers. You will bridge the gap between complex backend engineering and front-end storytelling, turning Avaya’s architecture with open APIs into tangible, impressive customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop AI Agents with solution level Model Context Protocol (MCP) to demonstrate various examples and use cases of Avaya's technology.

Rapid Prototype Development: Architect and deploy full-stack apps using Node.js and other modern script frameworks to showcase Avaya’s core technology.

AI Integration: Implement agentic workflows, LLM and MCP integrations, and modern AI patterns to showcase the future of communication.

Cloud Orchestration: Swiftly deploy and manage backend services across cloud based & core network engineered environments.

Customer Engagement: Join high-level meetings to present technical demos to stakeholders, translating complex backend logic into business value.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between product, sales, and engineering teams to ensure demos align with current roadmap capabilities.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:

Backend Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and experience building scalable RESTful APIs and WebSocket integrations.

Full-Stack Capability: Strong command of front-end technologies to ensure demos are visually polished and highly functional.

AI/ML Fluency: High degree of comfort with AI tools, LLMs, and agentic processes. Ability to learn and implement new libraries quickly.

Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Azure network and Google Cloud(Identity management, serverless functions, and scaling).

Engineering Discipline: Proactive approach to version control and documentation.

High-Level Communication: Exceptional ability to present to customers and collaborate as a reliable team player.

Fast Learner: Proven ability to pick up new SDKs, APIs, and cloud services on the fly.
