Short Description
This role supports the sale of complex technical solutions within Avaya Customer Experience Services (ACES). The solutions are for Avaya professional services, Alliance (third-party) solutions and Cloud solutions. The role must understand the requirements being presented, advise sales teams, gather information and develop scope of work including pricing and SOWs. The role is proficient at presenting the company's solutions and from an implementation perspective, using broad general knowledge of the product portfolio to articulate the solution in terms of the client’s business needs. The role must develop relationships with account teams, pre-sales engineers, third-party vendors, delivery teams, legal teams and offer managers. The role must understand Avaya process, policies, and tools necessary to do this role. This role will be responsible for crafting ACES and third-party solutions, which includes pricing, SOW, proposals, and in some cases technical and financial models. This role will be performed remotely and the ability to effectively make use of all Avaya-provided methods of communications are required (desktop video, web presentations, email, etc.). The role will be responsible for responding to Salesforce requests, and email questions as well as taking phone calls on complex product and services design issues. This role will be responsible to explore products and services elements for ACES (Waterfall and Agile Methodology, third party services and cloud deals, which can include discussions with sales and clients about remote connectivity, security, product interoperability, and the remote monitoring and service delivery platform. This job will at times be responsible for customer facing responsibilities for sales quoting & proposal related activities. This role has the necessary technical and theoretical skills to take a lead role in developing ACES, third party services and cloud solutions

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- US Resource, with Government Clearance, understand Government customers
- Develop ACES and 3rd Party Pricing and SOWs
- Support Agile and Waterfall pricing methodologies.
- Support review of pricing/SOW with customer (pre-sale)
- Support review of pricing/SOW with project delivery team (post-sale).
- Support scope changes for delivery team (post-sale).
- Partner with Account Team/Client Solutions Director for ongoing ACES opportunity consultations.
- Expertise in voice, cloud and data networking technologies with the aptitude to grow expertise in the convergence arena.
- Focused on supporting the sale of complex technical Implementation and Professional Services solutions by gathering information and developing pricing and SOWs.
- Proficient at presenting the company's solutions from an implementation perspective, using broad general knowledge of the portfolio.
- Capable to articulate the solution in terms of the client’s business needs.
- Adept at developing relationships with account teams, pre-sales engineers, third party vendors, delivery teams, legal teams and offer managers.
- Helps ensure that sales professionals and services associates understand and can articulate various ACES offers.
- Has basic knowledge of our competitors’ offerings and in our advantages over the competition.
- Participates in internal knowledge transfer sessions to build knowledge and share it with the team
- The role will be focused on US region.
EXPERIENCE
- Sr level requires 5 – 7 years’ experience in professional services, quoting, delivery, or technical sales.
- The person is adept at learning internal processes and knows how to maneuver within the company to assure that clients’ expectations are exceeded.
- Proficient at all necessary MSOffice and other necessary office automation tools
- Applicant should have excellent verbal and written skills.
