About the role

An expert at building high value opportunities in Strategic Large accounts. Responsible for full accountability for assigned accounts and serves as customer’s trusted advisor and advocate, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and consistently protecting the strategic interests of both the customer and Avaya. Maximizes opportunities by driving the customer planning process, leading virtual account teams in building innovative strategies that consistently deliver balanced growth, continued account penetration, and high customer satisfaction, and developing forecasts based on short and longer term growth. Maintains deep long term strategic partnerships at the executive level by ensuring that key executives clearly understand how Avaya solutions meet their business needs for Growth and Profitability.

 Exposure and Experience:

Must have good experience in building and closing Large Opportunities in Strategic/ Large Accounts.

Must have experience in driving deals based on Business needs of the customer towards Growth and Profitability.

Must have software product sales & solution selling experience in a fast growth environment, especially in Key/Larger account management

Should have a minimum of 15+ years relevant experience

Any previous experience of working along with Consulting Partners in winning deals, would be an added advantage.

Should have hands-on experience in major account management, channel sales, partner management & new business development.

Should have sold to senior management levels

Should have worked with virtual teams

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Master Degree is preferred
