Channel Account Manager has responsibility for all activities and pipeline development within their Business Partners community. He will focus on engaging existing Avaya business partners to ‘defend, grow and innovate’ across our large incumbent install base as well as being highly proactive in profiling, prospecting and winning new logo customer opportunities to drive sales growth, market share and brand awareness. Working collaboratively with internal ‘virtual teams’ and Avaya’s partner community is essential to success with excellent interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills a must.

About the Responsibilities

  • Manage new and existing channel partners to increase product sales. Build positive working relationship with partners to ensure smooth partner services.
  • Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners to build business. Coordinate with partners to identify new business opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Establish and support business relations with selected resellers including executives, sales, presale, services. 
  • Arrange business planning and performance review with named BP, provide reporting and business analysis in accordance with company requirements 
  • Develop named business partners to arrange their authorization and individual sales and technical expertise. Arrange sales and technical trainings for named BP
  • Provide planning and conducting marketing activities closely working with Avaya distributors and Avaya marketing team to increase Avaya market share, business leads generation and ROI.
  • Know Avaya products and services portfolio to promote benefits and advantages of company solutions. 

About the Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following attributes and experience:

  • Education: Typically requires high education –University degree 
  • Experience: Experience 6+ years-related experience. 
  • Solid experience in competing and winning business communications deal with business lead propositions.
  • Knowledge of the Avaya portfolio of products and services as a plus
  • Have worked successfully in a multi-cultural team.
  • Written and oral English at the level of intermediate.
  • Shows a winning attitude and is a great team-worker
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills, with experience working in a multi-cultural organization
  • Self‐starter with ability to manage resources and time to complete tasks to objectives
