Join a dynamic digital team responsible for managing a world-class website that drives the iconic Avaya brand’s reach within accounts and to new customers. Our ideal candidate is passionate about content—from messaging to writing to production—that intrigues, educates and engages audiences. Apply your experience in B2B and SaaS marketing, know-how to produce content that gets results, and strong communication skills. Leverage a talented team and in-house resources and build new relationships to ramp up our content production and syndication. 


In this role, you will define content strategy and manage the development and implementation of our public-facing web content. You will promote excellence and consistency in site content and presentation. Commission, review, and edit content from both external writers and internal subject matter experts, and ensure consistency of message, brand, and style across Avaya.com. You will continuously improve content and metrics as driven by SEO and visitor behavior.

Additionally, you will assess, recommend, define, drive, review, and implement web design and taxonomy to increase ease of access to, and engagement with, Avaya.com content. Assure presence and quality of conversion opportunities, assure compliance with accessibility standards, meet performance goals, and manage the content budget.

•    Supervise web content team members and projects
•    Drive Avaya.com content strategy and implementation
•    Ensure editorial consistency and Avaya’s brand, style, and voice
•    Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers for writing, site design, and SEO
•    Commission, review, edit, proofread, and write copy for the site
•    Strategize, prioritize, and implement SEO for the site
•    Co-ordinate campaigns and promotional content with Avaya.com
•    Be data driven—incorporate key web metrics in content and design decisions
•    Work with IT web team to manage site design development and implementation 
•    Foster user- and administrator-level knowledge of CMS and day-to-day publishing 
•    10+ years of experience 
•    Enterprise SaaS background a must
•    Excellent editing, writing, and proofreading skills 
•    In-depth knowledge of SEO practices 
•    Solid organizational and time-management skills
•    Great interpersonal and communication skills
•    Detail-oriented, project management experience
•    Creative thinker and problem solver
•    Team player
•    BA or BS in journalism, communications, or similar field


The pay range for this opportunity is from $118,600 to $160,100 + performance-related bonus + benefits

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
