Avaya Training Delivery team is currently seeking a technical instructor principal who will be responsible for delivering positive, engaging and effective learning experiences for customer end-users, administrators, Partner Sales Engineers, and Services personnel. They will be responsible for the delivery of blended learning, including self-paced, leader led and virtual instructor-led courses in support of accredation programs. To be successful in this role, you will need to exercise judgment within pre-defined practices and guidelines to deliver virtual training sessions with remote access to lab equipment.




As a technical instructor principal your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver curriculum and training content for one or more product areas.
  • Interact with cross-functional groups across the business.
  • Partner with client success managers to scope training requirements for custom course deliveries.
  • Deliver first course offerings for new and updated courses.
  • Act as a SME with development team for couse development and lab validation.
  • Meet or exceed delivery metrics (a.g. customer satisfaction, podium time



  • Experience interfacing with customers of various skill levels.
  • Proven training knowledge in a Customer Service base contact center environment.
  • Familiar with delivering virtual training sessions by remote access to off-site lab equipment.



  • Working knowledge of Avaya Contact Center products
  • Proven Presentation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Highly organized and results-oriented
  • Working knowledge of VMware installations and virtual lab environments
  • Working knowledge of Windows Servers, Linux Servers, maintaining product certificates, concepts of containerization, and basic networking concepts
  • Proven troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in deploying Avaya Solutions using product documentation



  • This is a virtual office position based in the US.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in training development and delivery
