About
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Sales Engineer with extensive experience in Avaya Contact Center, and UC products and solutions. The ideal candidate will provide high-level and detailed consultative solutions, technical and sales and process support for Distribution and Tier 2 and 3 Partners across the US and Canada. This role requires a deep understanding of Avaya's Architectures, Services and processes, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The candidate will perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations and demonstrations for distributors and partners.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level and detailed consultative solutions, technical and sales support for distributors and Business Partners.
- Thoroughly understand and articulate Avaya's Contact Center and UC portfolio.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for the customer base.
- Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations and demonstrations for distributors and partners.
- Provide professional leadership and coordination of Avaya's targeted business solutions.
- Create high-level executive contacts within the customers and Avaya community.
- Focus on the establishment, maintenance, and leverage of strategic relationships.
- Travel as required to support distribution and Partner focus.
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Deep Avaya product experience and/or applicable experience in competitor's Contact Center offerings is required.
- Experience with very large scale and complex communication system architectures, applications, customers, partners, and implementations.
- Competitive product experience and multiple vertical markets solutions planning, implementation, and operational background is desirable.
- Experienced in selling and positioning Avaya products and solutions in an executive-level, high-touch, large enterprise consultative selling environment.
- Ability to manage assigned strategic solutions on a regional basis.
- Professional leadership and coordination skills for Avaya's targeted business solutions.
- Ability to create high-level executive contacts within the customers and Avaya community.
Education/Qualifications:
- Typically requires a BS/BA or equivalent.
- Industry certifications: Possesses Avaya and one or more advanced industry/vendor certifications.
- Relevant credentials in Call Center management, application development, or related areas are desirable.
