ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sales Enablement Senior Manager plays a key role in the development, deployment and implementation of enablement content and readiness plans that meet the geo-specific needs of the Avaya sales and Partner community. The role supports the growth and development of Avaya’s sales culture to include a strong focus on customer-centric selling.  You will liaise with the Theater Sales Leaders and their leadership teams to drive prioritization of enablement activities based on function and geo-specific needs and ensure field engagement in enablement programs.  This role collaborates closely with Product Marketing, Product management and sales Leadership.

 

  • Partner and build meaningful, consultative relationships with geo sales and Channel leaders and area and functional leadership teams to understand the sales and channel organization’s strategy and associated enablement needs.
  • Work with a cross-functional team including Product Marketing, product management and specialists to create and execute on product enablement plan that addresses sales needs and improve knowledge and learning. 
  • Constantly seek to evolve and refine sales enablement content based on field and partner’s feedback.
  • Lead and/or facilitate field sales training activities, roll-out of sales enablement programs
  • Gain buy-in for enablement plans; engage with leaders and field to evangelize, communicate, and maximize the reach and effectiveness of the training delivery to sales and partner community 
  • Engage sales support functions, such as Sales Operations, HR, and marketing as appropriate to align, and drive increased adoption of sales processes, tools and enablement programs into the field 
  • Determine opportunities for improving the field sales learning experience, and identify innovative techniques for delivery and consumption
  • Define, track and report on key metrics that show enablement activity, sales productivity improvements and enablement effectiveness

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or Marketing majors preferred) and/or 10yrs+ equivalent work history & experience
  • Experience in content creation for Sales
  • Ability to develop engaging content and deliver high impact presentations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Experience with a Business to Business (B2B) environment focused to sales enablement /operations role (i.e. CRM, Sales Process and Tools) useful
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to measure impact of enablement programs and drive decision-making.
  • Team player with demonstrated ability working in a cross-functional, matrix-oriented, multinational environment
  • Strong interpersonal, trust-building and cross- cultural skills to cope with highly diverse cultures on a global level.

COMPENSATION

The pay range for this opportunity is from $127,800 to $172,550 + performance-related bonus + benefits

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Master Degree is preferred
