About The Opportunity


At Avaya we are reimagining digital communications with innovation that defines the future of work and the customer experience. 
Avaya is searching for a driven and dynamic Finance Manager with solid financial management acumen to join the Corporate Finance Team.  This is a very exciting time at Avaya as we journey through our Digital Transformation.
The Corporate Finance team supports many businesses, as well as some variable spend components and executive leadership team in strategy, budgeting, forecasting and other financial areas. 
To be successful in this role you will have to set high but realistic expectations, improve communication skills and develop your own skills, be open to new ideas and perspectives and recognize your big picture impact.


•    This role is critical and is an integral part of Avaya’s long-range plan achievement
•    As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for: 
     Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reporting for P&L and Capital
     Monthly Financial Project / Programs / Events tracking
     Sox Requirements
•    Corporate Finance team works Cross Functionally:  Working with other Business units 
•    Create recurring or ad-hoc reports and models for the purpose of allowing management to make data driven decisions.

About You

  • Drive the business to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Demonstrate strategic planning experience at a manager level.
  • Experienced in managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Have book-close experiences, fluent in accounting process.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong in data analysis and excel. Can connect various data point into useful analysis for action.
  • Ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Be a team player, take accountability, be independent. 


Strong / proven experience in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in BA or Finance


  • Full Time position, working cross functionally with global team leads
  • Normal / Flexible working hours
  • Min Travel 


The pay range for this opportunity is from $97,200 to $137,750 + performance-related bonus + benefits
This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
