About the Opportunity

The Director Avaya Services Finance will report to the VP of Avaya Services Finance.    This position will be responsible for traditional FP&A items such as Projections, the annual Operating Plan and Investment Analysis.     Strong business partnering skills are required as the Finance team is expected to work closely with various business leaders and Avaya business functions. 

Specifically, this position will facilitate the analysis of the entire services business, from Bookings to Revenue to the P&L.      It is a dynamic business with the combination of the traditional Services line, Professional & Managed Services, plus the Maintenance business, plus new businesses such as Subscription Services, and the Avaya Cloud.     The ability to operate independently and within a new business environment are critical to success.


About the Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will be/have establish a strong central FP&A cadence across the team as well as providing strategic analysis for various business opportunities/decisions.

  • Monthly Complete Financial Outlooks
  • Quarterly Results reviews
  • Annual Planning Process as well as the annual LRP (Long Range Plan)
  • Numerous ad hoc projects from M&A to new business opportunities
  • Develop a standardized approach across the Services Lines
  • Develop KPI’s
  • Will work very closely with the Service VP of Finance, as well as with the Services Leader, and the Services Lines leaders, including Operations and HR
  • Will interact across a wide range of the Finance department, in particular with the VP of Corporate FP&A and the Sales and Product Finance teams

About the Requirements


  • 10+ years’ experience in FP&A/Finance analytical roles


  • Organizational skills, Presentation skills (including to C Suite level audiences)
  • Job is hands on and will require Excel and PowerPoint core skill sets
  • Ability to work across both the business and the finance teams


  • Full Time.


College Degree
