ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This position will support IX Subscription MJE process including review and preparation of journal entries with a focus on 3rd party vendor transactions, support PWC Audit and SOX Controls, manage maintenance offer structures, report key external reporting items, and prepare deck for management review. The key to success is the ability to work as a team to meet the common goal. #LI-HK1
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform Book Close functions: Review supporting documents and prepare journal entries. Perform due diligence to support the journal entries. Reconcile actuals with expectations. Raise issues, propose solutions, and drive results.
• Manage revenue and cost related 3rd party vendor transactions: Prepare annual plan, monthly outlook, results flash, and journal entries for Book Close. Establish process with controllers and business. Analyze actuals vs flash/outlook/plan.
• Support IT automation to migrate manual process over to an automated process
• Support RAR implementation, analyzing results, setting up processes, and obtaining alignment across functions
• Support PWC audit and SOX controls
• Report key external reporting items / operational metrics, and prepare deck for management review
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE:
• At least 5-10 years of experience in Finance/ Accounting.
• Must have prior Book Close experience
• Finance or Accounting Major.
• Masters/ MBA/ CPA preferred
