Short Description

Leads a team in the pursuit of and closing of top sales opportunities.  Engages after an opportunity is qualified and the company has made a decision to pursue the business.  Manages the development of the win strategy, partnering strategy, solution development, quality assurance, commercial offer and customer negotiation efforts from engagement to deal closing on behalf of the sales team and the executive sponsors for the account.  Ensures the quality and timeliness of all work product from a wide array of groups including sales engineering, professional services, support services, operating services, regional representatives from each global theater, legal, finance, revenue assurance and proposal development.  Leads commercial negotiations on pricing and terms and conditions with target customers throughout the process and is responsible for maximizing deal profitability and deal closure velocity. Quota Size: Large - Account Size: Global. Product Responsibility: Products and/or Services. People Management: Incumbentleads the capture management team and coordinates the sales efforts of teams across the sales theater.

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
