Avaya is a global leader in providing innovative communication and collaboration solutions for businesses. As we continue to innovate and grow, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic CX Product Marketing Manager with expertise in competitive analysis to join our marketing team. 


  • Competitive landscape analysis conducting thorough analysis of the competitive landscape, staying informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.  Identify and assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats posed by key competitors.
  • Market positioning collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance the market positioning of our products in comparison to competitors.  Develop and communicate compelling value propositions that differentiate our products in the market. 
  • Competitive intelligence gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence, including product features, pricing strategies, and go-to-market tactics.
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams on emerging competitive trends and threats.  
  • Conduct regular SWOT analyses to evaluate our product portfolio and marketing strategies against industry benchmarks.  Translate findings into actionable insights to inform product development and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaboration with product teams to understand product roadmaps and feature releases.  Leverage insights to influence product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Sales enablement, developing and delivering training materials for the sales team, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to address competitive challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather feedback on competitor activities from the field.


  • 7 to 10 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product marketing with a focus on competitive analysis.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in CX and a passion for staying ahead of market trends.

The pay range for this opportunity is from $132,800 to $179,300 + target sales incentive + benefits.


This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and location.
