This position is a permanently remote role in Canada.  French is a necessity.  However please complete the application and send your resume in English.  

 Sells directly to end customers product and service contracts within assigned countries from a centralized inside sales office. Operates as an integral part of the commercial account team and leverages experience and creativity to meet or exceed individual goals and shared quota target. Grows addressable market by conducting discovery, utilizing social media and engaging in demand generation activities with a focus on the conversion of our installed base of premise and hosted offers.  Leverages technology tools such as video conferencing and remote demo apps to interface with customers. In conjunction with the Customer Success organization develops relationships with assigned customers to enable additional sales revenue.


  • Owns, and actively works to achieve and exceed, inside sales goals for seat counts and revenue for our Public Cloud offers.
  • Engages in sales activities associated with leads derived from our installed base of premise and hosted offers.  
  • When requested by management, participates in reviews of inside sales strategies and account plans that segment the addressable market that align with the commercial and names sales teams to ensure there is no overlap or gaps in coverage.
  • Responsible for managing and keeping current Inside systems and tools to allow a data led approach to sales funnel management and associated leadership visibility to performance and state of all assigned opportunities.
  • As defined by manager, proactively participates in training associated with sales technics and strategies, personal skills improvement, education on new products, services and solutions, and topics related to corporate compliance.
  • In coordination with Marketing: A) highlights and evangelizes customer wins which possess unique or interesting business outcomes for the customer, and which may serve as inspiration for future Avaya customers; B) participates in modern social marketing activities that promote our customers, offers, and the Avaya brand.
  • When called upon, plays an active role in mentoring new team members on our offers, sales processes, teaching the Avaya way.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


  • MUST speak fluent French
  • Has prior experience in a sales capacity, and understands how to operate in a modern sales model, managing and funnel of sales opportunity and demonstrated ability to deliver against sales goals.
  • Demonstrates business acumen and ability to align company solutions to customer’s business outcomes.
  • Self-starter, with excellent time management skills. Possesses the ability to prioritize work based on goals and manages time effectively.
  • Possesses a “can do” attitude, and is comfortable working with, and supporting, team members to achieve great customer outcomes. Is knowledgeable of, and proficient with, the use of approved social media tools and techniques to promote agreed customer outcomes as part of activities to promote Avaya’s products, people and Avaya as a great place to work.

  • S&B and/or mid-market
  • Background in Cloud Solutions/Cloud selling
  • Prospecting and holding demonstrations required
  • CAM and TAM experience desirable

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
